There is no reason whatsoever why we should be importing those commodities from the other nation. I became mad when i saw labourer offloading coconuts imported from Ghana. The Minister of Agriculture is busy with e-fertilizer distribution instead of working National agricultural policy plan. Some states are wasting more than 10 billion naira on purchase of fertilizers and claims on agricultural inputs grants which output equals to zero. We need farm estates not small land holding farms We need long term capitals for funding of agricultural venture We need linkages between research and our farms We need new farm techniques such as rain harvest
