What is your stance on profanity? Heres something everybody knows: I swear a lot. By that, I mean I swear a LOT. A LOT a lot. Mine is an atypical quantity of swearing. Maybe its because I came of age around people who also swear a lot. Maybe I was exposed to it at an early age and just picked it up as I grew. Maybe Ive watched too many Quentin Tarantino/Kevin Smith/Coen Brothers movies. Who knows? Who cares? It doesnt usually cause any problems. I know when not to swear (my mother, for instance, is not very fond of it, with a few exceptions), but Ive still found myself making people visibly uncomfortable when I get really vulgar and start tossing out four-letter words like beads at a Mardi Gras parade. What does the internet think?
