What leash and collar does everyone use when teaching a dog walking skills? and responding to leash pressure? and then also when you have to walk multiple dogs, like 3 at a time. I had been using Halti Harness but its not really snug enough around shoulders and front for his size, it just slides left or right... does help but its so low on front, and hes a shorter dog, that it gets leash caught up in stuff. I went back to just a regular cloth collar and most of time, when just me and him, hes fine... but when walking other dogs as well, he tends to start to pull which pulls on his throat. Anytime he pulls, everyone stops, until he turns around and comes back toward me. Morning are easy when its just the two younger ones... we walk a good pace and I keep everyone moving until we get to potty area... which is something new Im working on... Go Potty in a particular area. But when I add the 3rd, and older one... on our evening walk, then things get complicated. If I use anything other than retractable on the younger ones, they are always getting regular leash under their feet or twisted around. Even when everyone walking in same direction... Just like to know what others use when they have to walk like three dogs. I see the videos of trainers who have like 10 dogs, all in perfect rhythm, yeah right. One of mine is 14, other 10, and the other 1 year old. Trying to get all 3 at same pace is a pain in butt. Thoughts? Ideas?
