What makes a life, a life worth living? Do we look to peoples abilities, their skills, and their moments of glory? These moments are rewarding for mere seconds of an eternity, giving way with the next individuals greater accomplishments. Do we look to their speech, their language, and their ability to persuade others? Leadership is given unto us from our Lords divine grace, not due to our own actions or capabilities. What makes a man great? What should be the material of judgement in our assessment of superiority? As we must look to a fruit of ones spirit for evidence of the hearts content, we must look to the legacy of ones life to decide greatness. Was this man/woman, one whom inspired and led, with humility, others unto the alter of Christ-given freedom and compassion filled lives? Was this individual, one whom sharpened brothers and sisters to their maximal ability level in bringing the joy and thorough satisfaction of Christs sacrifice to others? Whom did they leave behind? And what will those people become? Now look to yourself, and judge with honesty......Who will you leave behind and how did you help them become better people? Legacy, is the consistency of comparison. Human nature is to degrade one another. Rebel and raise your companions up today.
