What my BFF may not have known about me is that my family has been directly affected by ALS. My fathers older brother, mon oncle Richard Rioux died of ALS at the young age of 68. I remember visiting the family, Marc, Nicole and Paul and my aunt Evelyn at their home once during his battle. I remember being amazed at how brave my cousines and aunt were and I remember how afraid I was of someday of having ALS myself. So I have challenged my two brothers and sisters-in-laws to join me but I encourage anyone who does not wish to dump a bucket of water over their head to go to the page on my timeline and sponsor me by making a donation todayl.
