What qualifies as newsworthy these days is a joke. And the leading lines they give you to want to read the story, and its totally misleading. 1st two stories I looked at. Tiny Driver Ticketed was about a little girl driving around in a toy electric car practicing parking w/her dad. Two mounted cops approach and gave her a ticket. You become incensed. Then...awwww how cute, it was a fake ticket for fun. WTF? Cops in front of my cart ticket cars and I often hear them...Sorry, these are all serial numbered and once I put pen to it, I have to give you the ticket. How does this shite make the news? Next story. Woman Punches DJ In Face Over Song Selection. Just a drunk woman in a bar who heckled a DJ, then punched him and threw a glass of wine at him and disappeared and is being sought.Holy crap...really? Ive seen bar clearing brawls, people thrown through bar windows, riots, name it. Stuff like this is everyday here in PDX, not even worth mentioning. Why also, for all the evil cops do, when one stops and shoots baskets w/kids he is a hero. If I do it Im a strange man approaching little children. The state we are in, all 50 of em, aint good.
