What scores are you aiming for on SAT, TOEFL, GRE, etc? Well, remember every university has a different minimum and average. These scores are publicly available on the internet. You want to find colleges and universities where your score is above their average. Here are a few example averages for SAT I: University of Michigan-Flint CR 500-680, M 530-650, W 520-670 Augsburg College CR 480-600, M 480-620 Princeton University CR 700-800, M 710-800, W 710-790 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) CR 680-770, M 750-800, W 690-780 Seattle Pacific University CR 520-630, M 510-620, 500-620 Hundred of colleges do not require the SAT. These include... Bates College Agnes Scott College California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) Clark University Hamilton College Harrisburg University of Science and Technology For the GRE, you probably want to score somewhere between 151 and 170 on both portions of the test. For the TOEFL iBT, a score somewhere between 85 and 110 will give you more options. But if you score lower, you can still make many universities minimums or go on conditional acceptance.
