What should the Zimmerman verdict teach our children: that you will be judged by how you carry yourself, by how your community represents their blessings, by how your leaders stand their ground in honor of those who fought for you to have a fighting chance? Trayvon Martin was prejudged because of White folk’s feelings toward the state of the Black community, which is not only perceived as a threat to their own community, but it’s a political opportunity to undo everything the civil rights movement accomplished. Why? What do they fear? How do you defeat a majority? Can we resurrect Black Wall Street? The answer is simple: we’re hurting and our leaders need an economic solution to a systemic problem. Hurt people not only hurt themselves but they’ll transfer that hurt to their seeds. Those seeds grow to express this hurt in ways that bear the worst kinds of statistics. The answer is ‘edutainment- economics’, family. Until we extend civil rights to include the ‘edutainment-model’ of a ‘metaphysical corporation’, our families will continue to hurt, the media will continue to mock and exploit us and every other race or ethnic group will continue to use our condition as an example of what not to become-#Resurrect Black Wall Street! -Bride Groomsmen ~N~ Chief
