What started out as an emotionally difficult morning has evolved into a wonderful day. My oldest came to visit (with her boyfriend and Grandchewable KD),and they took Tia and me out to lunch. Afterwards, I took Tia to the store to get a couple pairs of MUCH-needed jeans/shorts before she leaves, tomorrow. We found two pairs, at $5.00 each. When we went to pay, the cashier said they were only 49 CENTS each... they were holding a flash sale on all school clothes! We were able to add a couple of jackets, some sweaters, and another pair of shorts... all for less than the original price tag on the jeans! Not only that, I spotted the movie, Gone With the Wind, which Chew recently wished we had, and brought it home as a surprise. Now, we are watching it and munching porkchops and stewed veggies (potatoes, turnips, and sweet onions). #LovingLife
