I see a lot of questions here about what is good to recommend to someone with a low thyroid...read on! :) I have had a low thyroid for about 3 years now, and it made it incredibly difficult to lose weight, as well as I would suffer on and off from depression. Until recently, I was on a rather high dose of synthroid, and it seemed to be the only answer. Once I became an It Works! distributor, I started discovering all of these products that contain AMAZING ingredients that are awesome for thyroid function! Heres what I have been taking recently, and the key ingredients for thyroid support: - 1 package of Its Vital Complete Nutrition every day (usually in the morning) - dulse is a key component in the Its Vital multivitamin, plus LOTS of zinc and selenium in the Its Vital Minerals blend - 2 Confianza every morning (Moods and energy levels are often affected by people with thyroid imbalances. Plus Im a stay-at-home mom with a toddler...Im sure she appreciates me taking these, ha ha) - 1 New You every morning - 2 ThermoFit every morning, and an extra 1 before a workout - awesome for boosting the metabolism, which often slows WAY down when the thyroid is not functioning correctly, and combats the extra weight Ive put on while dealing with all this! - 6 scoops of Greens every day - again, dulse is a key component, as well as LOTS of micronutrients and nourishment, which can curb cravings for foods that can actually HARM the thyroid - 1 ProFit smoothie every day, with an extra Maca supplement (Maca is AWESOME for the thyroid!), and an extra scoop after a workout if its a workout day - Fat Fighters as needed (As I mentioned above, certain foods can harm the thyroid and slow down the metabolism. So I started splitting my synthroid tabs in 2 for a week...same thing. I went off the synthroid for about a month, had my blood work redone, and I NO LONGER NEED THE SYNTHROID!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!
