What to Watch Wednesday: Arrow, AHS: Coven and 2 Other Premieres, Cheers to CSI and More On TV this Wednesday: Arrow strikes again, American Horror Story: Coven starts brewing, The CW is up with Tomorrow People, Modern Family expands to 100, CSI says “Cheers!” and Minka Kelly and friends come Full Circle. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar. 8 pm Arrow (The CW) | Season 2 premiere: Oliver returns to a Starling City much worse than the one he left: Isabel Rochev (Firefly‘s Summer Glau) is planning a hostile takeover of Queen Consolidated, and Laurel is working with the DA’s office to bring down the vigilante. (Read preview, watch sneak peeks, peruse photos, find out what’s ahead for Laurel and learn which character is “better off than most at the beginning of the season.”) 8 pm The Middle (ABC) | Brick’s principal (Saturday Night Live‘s Rachel Dratch) informs Frankie and Mike that their son hasn’t been attending classes, while Sue becomes a potato girl at the mall food court. 9 pm Full Circle (DirecTV’s Audience Network) | Series premiere: Screenwriter Neil LaBute (In the Company of Men) makes his TV debut with this look at relationships through a series of conversations between 11 people whose lives, unbeknownst to them, are intertwined. Tonight’s episode centers on Tim, a British study-abroad student (Harry Potter’s Tom Felton) and Bridgette (Minka Kelly, Almost Human), the wife of his American host. Future installments star David Boreanaz (Bones), Kate Walsh (Private Practice), Cheyenne Jackson (Glee), Billy Campbell (The Killing) and Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck). 9 pm The Tomorrow People (The CW) | Series premiere: Stephen Jameson (played by 1600 Penn‘s Robbie Amell) thinks he’s going crazy… until the voices in his head lead him to the Tomorrow People, a genetically advanced race possessing superpowers. Luke Mitchell (Home and Away), Peyton List (Mad Men) and Aaron Yoo (Disturbia) co-star, with Lost‘s Mark Pellegrino playing the leader of the paramilitary/scientific organization hunting the exceptional creatures. (Watch a sneak peek, and read TVLine’s First Impression.) 9 pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC) | Internal Affairs sends Cassidy undercover — eventually landing him in grave danger — when the 12th precinct is accused of making “rape cop” allegations disappear. Ghost Whisperer‘s David Conrad, who (fun fact!) was a finalist to play Amaro, guest-stars as a crooked cop. 9 pm Criminal Minds (CBS) | CSI: Miami alum Eva LaRue guest-stars as an FBI agent who helps the BAU figure out whether a Dallas sniper is motivated by the anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination. 9 pm Modern Family (ABC) | In the comedy’s 100th episode, Cam tries to hide his engagement from his older, unwed sister Pam (played by Dana Powell, Suburgatory) — but she has news of her own. 10 pm American Horror Story: Coven (FX) | Season 3 premiere: Upon learning she’s descended from a long line of witches, Zoe (AHS Season 1′s Taissa Farmiga) is whisked off to a mysterious New Orleans school for lasses like her. At the same time, a “Supreme” witch (AHS vet Jessica Lange) returns to town to cause trouble. AHS players Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson and Denis O’Hare also inhabit different roles, while Kathy Bates (Harry’s Law), Angela Bassett (ER) and Gabourey Sidibe (The Big C) are among the new faces. Elsewhere, Juliette plays a private gig for a billionaire couple and Will and Scarlett get CSImakeovers for the Stockholders Showcase. (See photos!) Charlie Bewley (Twilight films) guest-stars. 10 pm CSI (CBS) | Cheers reunion alert! John Ratzenberger guest-stars as a club owner as Ted Danson’s team investigates a fatal fire at a music venue.
