What to do about my bullying chicken, Cassie. She tries to crow in the morning, is determined to dominate and KILL Lizzie the Buff Orpington, and is just a stinker. Arjuna and I have both decided shes trans, and really ought to be beating the crap out of a bunch of young roosters on the chicken equivalent of a football field, but, oh well, we dont have any young cocks! So...weve introduced Grandma Betty, an older, very wise, Survivor Buff Orpington hen, to try to bring sanity to this insane little flock of 3 hens, well, 2 hens and Cassie, whom I need to begin calling Castor. However, Castors trans identity aside, I think Grandma Betty is going to need back-up, to end Castors very BAD behavior, so...I am employing water cannon. Yup. Were getting a supersoaker and every time Castor goes after Lizzie, were gonna hit him in the head with a cold stream of water. Were also thinking of putting a red light in the roost at night, so Castor cant see Lizzies head wound. If none of this works, well soon be having the BEST pot of trans chicken stew EVER.
