What to do with those aerosol cans? Depends on if they are empty, or not: Partially full or full aerosol cans need to be brought to a Household Hazardous Waste Event Drop-Off Event (next one is this Saturday 9/21!). Pressure from full or partially full aerosol cans can cause explosions. Completely empty aerosol cans may be placed in garbage cart. The container is empty when nozzle is depressed and neither contents nor air pressure escapes from the can.
