What wind is found in the sail of a boat stuck against the rocks. Above the ocean blue the sky holds the clouds close and the wind brisk against the cheek...but beneath the waters the boat is torn to pieces against the jagged rock and barnacles like knives against the skin. What seems calm to all that look on is a torment of anguish beneath the sea, beyond the sight and picture perfect scene. Relationships are often a boat on the ocean a drift with little direction if no one is will to be the Captain and set course for calm waters. I have sailed in the roughest waters been rescued by the coast guard but they are memories only found in my past. The relationships is not forgotten and often never gets resolved for the damage done is severe. Trust, adventure and the joy of chasing a sunset become thoughts of the past and not goals of the future. Set your sails for calm water, take charge not in a controlling way but a precaution to avoid things that can damage your trip. Life in an incredible adventure that you have no choice to travel... make the best of it. Look around you experience what God has provided you with. I am sad to see so many people sailing alone, so many couples on the same boat but strangers. I understand things do not change over night but your trip is long...take the time to change one small thing a week or even a month and soon the island will appear and the setting sun will glow in her eyes. Remember on the ocean you need your partner.. A journey traveled alone only can be remembered by one...share life quit living it alone...To be the center of all things is beyond selfish and sad.
