What would the Islamists have said and done about June 30th if these protests were against another president? For example, assuming Shafiq was the one who won the election and Egyptians were unhappy with his lack of achievements. Would the Islamists say that the protests against shafiq are haram and kuffr? would they have said that whoever sprays Shafiq with water they will spray him with blood? as they say now..!! would they have said shafiq has to complete his 4 year term and the "box" is the only way to change shafiq? .....I do not think so...they are taking these positions and making these wild statements because the "elected" president is Morsi and will not do the same if the elected president was not an Ikhwan or Salafy..they are not supporting a principal, they are support a member of their tribe. Also, they are afraid what might happen to them if the Islamists lose power.
