What would your response be as educator ..... one day.... One day, you as educator becomes a resident in a country. The country so happens to adhere to the dictates of a ideologico-politico-economic paradigm adopted from another, which it was too weak to face; so it succumbed to its ideologicao-politico-economic paradigm and modified it for domestic use. You as educator one day... one fine day noticed that after years and years, you are only offered part-time employment, so you enquire to one of the lower-ranked line-functionaries as to what you can do so as to land a full-time position. You enquire - with what the line-functionary acknowledges is an impressive résumé (CV). He proceeds and inform you that your controversial teaching affects your employability. Upon looking further into the matter it came to light that due to you teaching - with your point of departure for Social Studies and Language Arts being justice and democracy - thát in particular is considered controversial. Amongst others.... you also often joined the City Council Chairpersons mass march on Martin Luther King Day in Seattle and while in conversation with a fellow black marcher.... a close to retired black woman ..... you had to endure her sad lament when she ask you: [why talk about justice??? Dont you know that in the US no one wants to talk about justice?]. So you are appointed ambassador to the US for a national sporting-code. As soon as you submit your letter of appointment, all hell breaks loose around you! Right down to street-level! You play your board game in a coffee-house and there masters of the game - some Grandmasters begin to show up. But their showing-up coincide with them now coaching for the meager takings which beginners could scrape together..... To the point where some of the very poorer ones come to you, to alert you to a plot according to which these masters are bad-mouthing you to people who hardly know you.... Stronger masters and players start to avoid you..... You go to church where you serve on the governing structure. During a duly called meeting a decision is to be made whether the church can live up to its calling by registering as a NGO. When you point our that as NGO the church will submit to being run according to business-principles and that would introduce challenges to it in its mission in society to live up to Christs injunction to be in the world on the side of the poor and downtrodden. The same, as what happened after your appointment as sport-ambassador happens now to you right in church! You approach the church minister and soon the helpful church-minister looses housing and position as minister! You apply to University to study and after three attempts, your application package - sent by registered mail and once electronically mysteriously disappears without a trace! Three months later your spouse gets a very lucrative position on Wall Street! You warn her well in advance to steer clear of Wall Street.., it wont last! Nevertheless she opt for the opportunity. After a year in NY, she runs to you; apologizing with tears flowing down her cheeks as she apologises for being faithless. But thats only after Wall Street spectacularly collapses and the EU; which you warned her will also blow up, blows up! But she had already shoved separation papers under your nose..... After a year of harassment in a job for the city where the union-official merely sat on their hands as you submit grievances; you are laid-off - never to be employed again! On the street you are harassed by FBI-informers; yet - in meeting with your Consulate General, you are assured of policy changes, in terms of which your country now is in policy line with the host country as well as globalization (Neo-Liberalism), With that said..... What more......?
