What you are about to read is going to come as a massive shock to most of you. And I’m posting this email with the heaviest of hearts. As of Friday 17th October 2014, You Can Fitness will cease operation. Up until that point all group fitness classes, personal training and coaching will continue as normal. We have not come to this decision lightly and understand that it may cause some of our client’s sadness and distress. I can tell you that making this decision has certainly caused Melanie and myself great distress. But the decision to close the business has been made in consultation with our family, friends and perhaps most importantly, Melanie’s oncologist. Melanie has been advised that she needs to drastically reduce the stress in her life and completely prioritise her own health. Whist operating You Can Fitness has been the most incredibly rewarding experience; the stress on both Melanie and myself has been immense. And for those who have been through cancer you will understand exactly what Melanies oncologist means. As you may be aware I will be pursuing a new career in the near future. And Melanie has been offered a wonderful part-time position, which she would like to take up. We would like to express our complete gratitude to every single person who has ever used our services and formed part of the You Can Fitness family. We’ll be forever grateful for your support over the last three years. **Client Refunds Commencing Monday 20th October 2014, You Can Fitness will be refunding outstanding amounts / credits paid by clients for services not already rendered. We will do this as timely as possible and will be providing calculated amounts for individuals to acknowledge. So if you have credits on our system for services please don’t panic, you will be refunded. **Direct Debits All direct debits will be terminated to coincide with the last day of operations. But if you wish for your direct debit to cease immediately please email us as soon as possible. **Equipment Sale The contents of the studio will be sold in a strict 2-day sale – Friday 17th October 2014 from 2.00 to 6.00pm and again on Saturday 18th October 2014 from 8.00 to 11.00am. A comprehensive list will be displayed in the studio for perusal. Sales will be by cash at the studio. For large items you will need to arrange your own transport. **Last Drinks For those people who are interested Melanie, Debbie and myself will be having a few drinks on Friday 24th October 2014, in the Romsey Hotel Lounge from 5pm onwards.
