What you see is not always what you get ... Coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10 as it is most commonly known, is used by our body cells for aerobic cellular respiration - a range of reactions and processes that take place in a cell in order to produce energy, and in this particular case, these reactions require oxygen. Most of our bodys energy is produced this way. CoQ10 is absolutely essential for optimal health, but can often be deficient due to either an inability of our body to absorb it from the foods that we eat or from an increased demand due to various illnesses. Having been advised by my kenisiologist to try it, I went to Holland and Barrett, to get a bottle and give it a go ... This is what the bottle looked like ... 30 capsules, nothing out of the ordinary - just another CoQ10 bottle ... But then I opened it ... And discovered that most of the bottle was empty! Sure, there were 30 capsules inside, but the bottle was at least five times bigger than it needed to be! Needless to say, disappointed is how I felt! Very! Why, Holland and Barrett? Unnecessary plastic waste and rather misleading, I felt ...
