#WhatLifeIsTeachingMe-Monday Life is teaching me that, no matter how I justify or deny, people always treat me the way I treat myself. All that people do is to follow my lead. Like all great lessons, this one is hard to learn because its well disguised, it looks external. Its the clients that always take us for granted, or staff members that disrespect us. Or the man undermines us and is mean to us. whatever the scenario, it looks like its them, its external, so the immediate response is towards them. To lash out, to demand respect and to use threats, anything towards them. While completely oblivious to our role in it. What life is teaching me so far is that until and unless I take myself seriously, no client will. Until I treat myself with respect, no staff will and until I value myself no man will or anybody for that matter will. I will continue running around in circles lashing out, blaming and pointing fingers at them I now know that the World always follows the leader. They follow my lead.
