Whatever God speaks and tells us to do, it is important that we be obedient! The judgement and wrath of The Lord is here! God was angry against Jonah, the prophet because Jonah deliberately disobeyed The Lord! God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to warn the ppl that if they didnt repent, He would destroy them! But Jonah had other plans! He decided that he wasnt going to Nineveh to warn anybody, but he was going to Tar-shish instead. No one on board the ship knew that Jonah had disobeyed the direct commands and word of God! Be very prayerful and alert who we get connected with! Not all are walking in obedience to God and Gods wrath against them will affect us for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Jonah tried to hide from God, but we cant hide from Him who sees all, knows all, and judges all! Jonah boarded this ship to Tarshish knowing that he was in trouble with God but revealed this to no one until he had to! God found Jonah on board a ship going to Tarshish and caused the waves in the sea to almost destroy the boat. Even the men on board knew something was horribly wrong because they had never witnessed or experienced such horror and threat on the sea! The men told everyone to seek the face of their God that they would be saved. Then, the men asked everyone on board who they were! Jonah knew that what was happening was because of his sins against God! We better make sure that God is with and for the ppl that we are connected with! Prayer will reveal the hidden tares in the midst! GODS judgment and wrath is here for the disobedient and wicked! Jonah confessed to the men what he had done against God and then told the men to throw him overboard! Its time children of God to throw all of the Jonahs overboard! Jonahs are ppl who deliberately and continuously disobey God knowingly putting everyone connected to them in danger of Gods wrath! These are the ppl who have a form of godliness, but have lost reverence and respect for God to fear His power and authority! Jonahs are rebel goats who are determined to do things their way even after they were warned! They care not for the innocent and dont mind innocent casualties of war! The men threw Jonah over board the ship! God had already prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah for several days as his judgement for disobedience! Once they threw Jonah overboard, the storm ceased, the waves stopped roaring, the wind was calm! Then did the men on board the ship (that had been damaged) know that God was angry against Jonah! Examine the company and connection that we keep and harbor, we may just be harboring a terrorist (enemy) against The Lord! We become terrorists against God when we walk in disobedience and sin! God is after His enemies, they are terrorists against the kingdom of God! They are a target of Gods wrath, run quickly away from them! We have been warned! Please do not fall in the hands of an angry God! They will not escape! Hallelujah!! Jesus reigns forever and ever!!
