Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality. - Martin Luther King, Jr. See, this quote by the great Martin Luther King is yet another reason why “Playing Church” is dead serious! “I need you to survive!” Are you living on purpose? Has God’s purpose for your life becomes obscured by foolishness? Did you know that a “Christian” hiding in the closet with their sins is nothing but a conformist, quietly embracing worldly principles? Well, (Matthew 7:22-23) is also an interrelated structure of reality—which says, “Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” Listen, living on purpose involves far more than dressing up in our “Sunday’s Best” and playing church. It requires what is so difficult for a lot of us Christians: to deal with our pride by humbling ourselves before God, come out the closet with our sins, remove the mask, and really get saved!
