“Whats Equality Got to Do with It? Mens Issues and Feminisms Double Standards Noted critic of Feminism and its Militancy, University of Ottawa Professor Janice Fiamengo will discuss pronouncements about a rape culture at the University of Ottawa, based on a number of recent incidents and allegations. There have been a significant number of warnings, pious expressions, public acts of breast-beating, and the promise of future studies, recommendations, and yet-further suppression of speech on campus related to this so-called rape culture,. Dr. Fiamengo will examine the obfuscation and ideological manipulation around the claims of rape culture, and will consider some of its unfortunate effects on the men who (though in diminishing numbers) still work and study on campus.
