Meet Megan Nicole The 20 yr old singer-songwriter comes from Katy,Texas. Megan Nicole always had a thing for music as the 90s baby was accompanied by an array of sounds from the generation prior, including: Queen, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and various artists from the ‘70s funk era, and at age 9 is when she decided to start singing as she use her familys karaoke machine. Megan Nicole started posting videos on Youtube covering hits from numerous of artist with nothing but her guitar and her voice, since then she hasover 1,500,000 subscribers and over 350 million video views. One of Megan Nicoles most popular cover was Bruno Mars’, “The Lazy Song,” which attracted over 36 million views as she not only cover the song but she recreates Mars’ video even down to the choreography producing a combination of impressive sound and captivating visual. Megan Nicole would catch the ears and eyes of Harve Pierre, president of Bad Boy as he arranged a meeting with Bad Boy founder/hip hop mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy was impressed and quickly scheduled a meeting with Jimmy Iovine, CEO of Interscope Records.
