Whats There To Live For? Part Fifty... Laimi had promised to buy Linda and Becca a laptop each should they pass with points above thirty. Laimi had now started working and they knew she would afford them. Linda knew she had studied and she knew thirty points was an easy target for her. She took that a motivation and studied even harder. I will be coming late this year because I have work. Just get me a thirty and above and you will recieve your laptops Laimi had said one evening when she had called. When the results came, Becca had gotten 23 points and was very disappointed. She did pass but it still seemed to low and she knew she wouldnt get the promised laptop. Fortunate for Linda, she wrote and amazing 42 points that even she her self was shocked as she had never reached that since grade eight. She always wrote a 25-30 points. Her Aunt was shocked at how smart she was and praised her to all her friends. That is my niece! She would brag Linda had not minded her and only looked at her. Laimi was very happy that she had even promised her new clothes untop of the laptop. I knew you had it in you cousin! She had exclaimed excitely Desmond was the happiest. Linda was grateful to him as he, along with his sister Lamona and Laimi, had encouraged her. They were the only ones who actually believed in her. You made us proud.. Lamona had said when she had called to congratulate her Thank you, Mona Linda had replied Desmond had not put any subjects on higher level and so they all waited for after the festive season to see his ordinary results. Laimi arrived few weeks later, just before christmas with a Proline laptop for Linda and new summer wear. She was extremly happy and it all showed on her face. Desmond had not gone anywhere that hoiliday and they spent it together having fun at the different beaches and visiting around. A few weeks after the new year,Desmonds results were out and he had wrote straight As giving him a 42 points in his six subjects which was an exellent...
