Whats a livelihood? Not what you might think. It refers to the capabilities, assets and strategies that people use to make a living. Refugees--who have lost their assets and their communities--are often cut off from safe sources of income and support. This especially applies to women, who face discrimination on top of displacement. But well-informed programming can give them the tools they need to make their own living. Learn more here:
