Whats in the bond for Sammamish? If the bond doesnt pass, the one or two hundred dollars a year youll save in property taxes will be severely off set by the lowered price youll get for your property when you sell, since the Lake Washington School District wont have the great reputation it currently enjoys because our kids will be sitting in portables and substandard classrooms. Its a good thing Kirkland didnt ask whats in it for Kirkland during our previous levy election when the only things on the ballot were Eastlake and Redmond High Schools additions. Our kids could have been sitting in 21 portable classrooms in the parking lot at Eastlake. If projects outside of Sammamish are not completed in a timely fashion, those projects slated for Sammamish move even further down the line. Please vote and encourage others to vote. Only 17 percent of eligible voters between the ages of 18 and 44 voted and thats the demographic most likely to be affected by the bond vote - Kerri Busk Nielsen
