Whats life worth living for if all people do is fight to live? A couple of weeks ago, I was helping my friend organize a birthday party. We had to setup a lot of stuff in the rented location - banners, sweets, whole ranges of food, tables, flowers and a range of decorations. 5 hours later, at the end of the party, I had to undo all of that. Get the remaining food tossed into the trash, removing all the decorations. At the end of the process the hall was back to where it was. Didnt I know that we would be removing all of the stuff at the end of the party? Then why would I decorate and arrange in the first place? Because we had all that fun in the middle. Just like a party, life is ephemeral. It has to end at some point. Even amazing music concerts and engrossing sport games end at some point and the audience is cleared. Do we not enjoy a party knowing fully well that the party would end at some point? Do we not enjoy a concert knowing well that the musician will end his song at some point? In the same way, we enjoy life and move on. ------------Shared by Balaji
