Whats on my mind? WHY THE F does the browser give me the option to never ask to remember the password for this site if its just going to ask me that same stupid question every single time? Grrrrr. Now, heres why you should never remember a password, especially on Google Chrome browser: 1: Go to settings, then show advanced settings which is a hyperlink, not a button 2: Go to Passwords and Forms 2.b: If Offer to save passwords is NOT checked you might be OK but in case it ever WAS checked, continue with: 3: Click manage passwords which is a hyperlink, not a button 4: Under Saved passwords click the line with a URL and a saved password which is shown as a series of dots. 5: When selected, the password field has a show button in it. Click that. If you do NOT have a Windows password (to log in to windows when the computer first starts up) it will show the selected web-site password in plain text. If you DO have a windows log-on password it will ask you for that password then will show the selected web-site password in plain text. Many people have no windows password on their personal computer and if they DO, more than one person uses the same windows account thus knows the password. This is how I used to get into my kids (step-kids) and my ex gfs accounts. Also, many people use the SAME password for everything so acquiring that one password, or the password to their email account so I could reset OTHER passwords, was waaaaayyyyyy too easy. Google Chrome is far more vulnerable than windows itself, or even Internet Explorer, provided the person has physical access to the machine. Use FireFox instead.
