Whats on my mind? Well, Ill tell you facebook. This new potential Order of the Masters of Defense and the... well call it discussion... has left me pondering a few questions. First, why does this have to change the way the Order of the White Scarves work? To me this makes no sense. In almost every aspect of life there are tiers of work and people that fill them, but in our Society is the COMPLETELY wonderful idea that we honor people, we strive to promote those that have surpassed us and are happy for their achievements. They Stood on OUR shoulders and started an upward path from there. Second, why isnt this being more celebrated in the commentary? There is a real opportunity here for everyone drawing together, across all the Kingdoms, but if you read the commentary, its all about why in MY kingdom its this way and in MY kingdom this wouldnt work because were already considered Peers. Well, guess what? Now you MIGHT ACTUALLY GET TO BE PEERS! You may receive an actual Patent of Arms where before you were only afforded perhaps the respect but not the REALITY. Look how far this ancillary activity has come in the last 30 years! Third, if every single branch to Peerage is unique, then why can we not maintain our uniqueness and retain the Order of the White Scarf as recognized across the many Kingdoms that elected to sign that Treaty? Why invalidate the one thing that we all hold so dearly?
