Whats on my mind today (EARLY) is the amount of mails I got re: my banking cards and the rapid action ~ other auditors and myself have a message for all: We accept poor customer service (which includes timing, product, reliability, security*, performance, customer complaints - and far more). Given that were not all in my core job, WE STILL GET WHAT WE BASICALLY EXPECT! Why??? Like many nations, we accept poor product, service, et al. Every business, be it a corner one or a large corporate has to accept responsibility for customer complaints which should be logged in a register open to the public. *Remember the market is going through tough times, dont make it easier by accepting THAT YOU ARE NOT A PRIMARY CUSTOMER - even if its a bottle of nail varnish youre buying - the price of the product does not count - what counts is Customer Satisfaction, ISO 8.2.1. The good news is that SA is still relatively active compared to some other First world countries, where we have audited. If your meal isnt exactly what you ordered, and you feel bad about being done in - return it - but dont eat half of it first. I have great empathy for those who feel helpless, but we are here to remind you that you demand what you pay for, or accept 2nd best, last best? It is the people of the nation that set the rules. It is also not the intention to make bad of being a Customer ~ I think the message is clear. Never feel helpless, for we dont make use of our small claims courts, our own insistence on our rights with the supplier... Remember whos the Customer & who is the Supplier. Whoever we pay, is rendered as a Supplier and believe me, the have to adhere to relative requirements. The Receiver of Revenue is also merely a supplier!! I faced a boardroom of them some time ago and asked for Empirical proof that they had in fact sent out their monetary demand. No proof. No case Gentlemen! Prove by objective evidence you got that to me and Ill pay - meanwhile, get your act together.... I hope this is not an insult, but a help to many members of us normal humans who always feel hounded and owing.... never do that to yourselves if youre in the right and they dont have their proof of claim.
