Whats on this week at Film Society: German Thrillers! Das Experiment (2001): This psychological thriller is based on the true story of the famous Stanford Prison Experiment. For two weeks, 20 male participants are hired to play prisoners and guards in a prison. Haunting truths about human nature will emerge. Run Lola Run (1998): This action thriller is a true landmark of cinema for its groundbreaking storytelling structure (which I wont spoil here). A young woman in Germany has twenty minutes to find and bring 100,000 Deutschmarks to her boyfriend before he robs a supermarket.
