Whats on your mind - i miss everything about Spring and Summer. Picking mushrooms around the fragrance of Apple blossoms. Trout fishing clear streams in morning mist. Picking wild asparagus, strawberries and Blackberries with songbirds above. Crickets and Spring Peepers in the cool evening air. The fresh scent of manicured lawns and Rose beds. Laughter around swimming pools amidst coconut butter and oils. The first deep red tomato, ready to be picked. Wispy clouds drifting by, inviting you to follow. Rain dripping from Wild Honeysuckle and Peonies. BBQ waffling around neighborhoods and homes. Acoustic guitars and a flute serenading a warm eve. I miss everything about Spring and Summer. Boats splashing through sparkling diamond waters. Park benches occupied by fiancees and lovers. Swallows and Martins darting below a full Moon. Scratching the ear of a lazy Dog, rested on the porch. The window is open and fresh baked bread tantalizes the senses. The simple pleasures of Spring and Summer will soon be here to take delight. Enticing, inviting, tempestuous. Our reward as such from a long enduring Winter.
