News Feed SORT Sherree Ree Clay via ABC News Some of Australias biggest internet companies, including Facebook, Google and Twitter, have taken issue with a Government proposal to introduce an e-safety commissioner. The Government has put out a discussion paper which in part proposes to give the commissioner power to remove material from the internet. The internet companies raised concerns with Paul Fletcher, the parliamentary secretary to the Communications Minister, that the proposals are a threat to free speech.
