Whats sad about his death, is not that he died, but that he died after having never repented for teaching a false gospel. He died denying Christ and Him crucified. He died while leading many people astray. Beware before you retort here, that you yourself arent bowing at the foot of the idol of graciousness; a golden calf to those who reject reproof. To call out his sin and to warn others of his false teaching falls in line with Jude 3 and 1 Peter 3:15-16. We shouldnt be mourning his mere death, but that he is standing before the Lord giving an account for his unrepentant life.
