Whats the best peanut butter? The one you make yourself, just using peanuts! Tastes delish & creamy, much healthier! Store bought is filled w preservatives & fillers, extra sugar & sodium, thats why it has a long shelf life, it lasts for months on your shelf. I make pb in our Vitamix, 1 of its functions is a pb maker! I used 4 cups of honey roasted, it filled up a regular size pb container. I save pb containers and refill them. Please dont break your blender, this is a high quality blender, totally worth the investment, 7 yr warranty! We have 2 Vitamix, this one is the 5200, weve had it almost 4 yrs. Our other one, is the newest model, top of the line, the Pro 750, has presets and stops by itself. If you dont have a Vitamix or want to save time, Whole Foods Market has pb machines in the bulk isle. The peanuts are in the machine, just press the button and pb comes straight out just using peanuts.
