Whats the deal with modern parents denying grandparents access to the children if the grandparents say anything to offend the parents delicate sensibilities? This is major B.S. If your parents were good to you, you OWE it to them to not only give them free access to their grandchildren, but to teach your kids to respect them. In this regard -- in general -- I must say the parents of previous generations were better than the parents of my generation. How did this silly game even get started? Is it a result of our generation being used as pawns in divorce wars? Whatever started it -- I encourage all parents to END it. Its uncool. Unless theyre abusive, kids need their grandparents -- and you are modeling appropriate behavior for your children.
