Whats up with chickens these days? We dont do a lot of fast food but occasionally succumb when hunger clouds our better judgment. Stopped at Mountain Fried Chicken a while back and tried to order two two-piece white boxes. They only had one breast but they could fill one of the order order with wings. Um, no. Ended up with strips because it was time to feed. Last weekend we hit KFC and ordered pretty much the same: Four piece, white, two biscuits. Found a breast, wing, thigh, and leg in the box when we got home. Thanks a lot Colonel. Tonight, having a history of bad luck at the local establishments, cruised to Bojangless one exit up the road. They offer a two-breast option on the menu so we ordered a couple of those. All was well at the first window where took my money. At the second window, however, we were informed that they only had two breasts. It would be a 15 minute wait. What? Fifteen minute wait for fast food? How long does it take to fry a piece of chicken? If you profess to be a chicken place, why cant you deliver?
