Whats your best (or worst?!) Thanksgiving dinner mishap? If youve got a keen eye, youll notice that my Split Roasted Turkey recipe (often known as spatchcocked, but I think split sounds more elegant - hee hee) shows the bird that was split completely wrong in the photo! I split it on the wrong side. If you have my Healthy Holiday Recipes then you have it there. I gave you the correct instructions, despite my photo being totally wrong. See? Even those of us who write cookbooks sometimes mess up! I think I just went in for it and split it without ever reading a how-to and figured split is split. Guess what? It worked out just fine and was the fastest, best-tasting bird ever. So there! :) You just have to laugh at yourself sometimes!
