What’s On at Lotus House in September 2014 The Egyptian Society for Life Skills and Self-Development This month, get ready to spend some quality time at Lotus House, as we have a very special event from 14th – 21st September, including guest speaker from Kuwait, Aruna Ladva. SPECIAL EVENT ‘Being with the One’ throughout the week of 14-21st September We all wish to be closer to God in our own way. This special week long event ‘Being with the One’ is designed to help us all to develop and strengthen our relationship with the Divine. we invite you to attend some or all of these sessions: Being with the One: Every Day Meditations Each evening from 14th to 21st September from 6.30pm – 7.30pm. Meditation each evening: the doors will be open between the hours of 6.30 and 7.30pm and we encourage you to come every evening to build up your personal power by spending time in meaningful silence (meditation) connecting with the ‘One’. No need to book Being with the One: Public Talk Saturday 20th September at 7.30pm Each human being has a relationship with God that is unique and personal. Tonight’s talk is a gentle exploration of that relationship as seen through the eyes of a long-time yogi. Aruna Ladva from Kuwait has experinced many countries, cultures and religions, and has personally interacted with thousands of individuals. She chooses to see not what sets us apart, but rather to focus upon what unites us. She sees ‘Love of the One’ as a way for human beings around the world to connect, unite, and create a better world. No need to book Being with the One: “One Peaceful World” (Meditation for World Peace) Sunday 21st September, 6.30-8.15pm 21st September sees the coming together of three events: our monthly World Meditation Day, which has been happening around the world for more than three decades, the Annual ‘Peace One Day’ event (peaceoneday.org) and the Grand Finale of our ‘ Being With The One’ week event. Aruna will give an introduction at 6.30pm followed by Meditation for World Peace at 7.00pm – 8.00pm, No need to book SELF DEVELOPMENT COURSE Living our Values Wednesday 10th, 17th and 24th September, 7.30pm – 9.00pm If we want to live a more peaceful, happy and healthy life, there needs to be a return to our inner spiritual values.
