“What’s up with Cancer?” Not long ago my wife and I had - TopicsExpress

“What’s up with Cancer?” Not long ago my wife and I had to sit down with our sons, Jacob and Nicholas, and let them know that my wife’s best friend and one of our neighbors had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. In their very short time on this planet they have already been affected by cancer; various relatives have been diagnosed and they have lost their grandfather (my dad) to brain cancer. Nicholas looked up at me and said, “Dad, what’s up with cancer?” As tears welled up in my eyes I had to muster up some courage and speak. “Nicholas, cancer sucks but it’s not how things should or have to be. God gave you the ability to fight any disease; you are a healing machine. You just need to stay strong and healthy so that you don’t get cancer in the first place.” Cancer is a very difficult topic to discuss because it has affected the vast majority of us personally. There are very few people who do not know someone who has been diagnosed. And the statistics are showing that the numbers are only growing. Right now, over 40% of all people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That is, 1 in 2 women and 1 in 3 men. This is absolutely shocking and could lead one to feel hopeless and somewhat helpless. But there IS hope! The most recent research on cancer is showing that the majority of cancer is preventable based not on genetics (as once thought) but on lifestyle. How you live your life has more to do with you getting cancer than your genes. Now I don’t want you to get the wrong impression here: we are NOT “blaming” people for getting cancer. However, most people that get diagnosed with a critical illness KNOW that they need to start living a better lifestyle. You will hear them talk about better nutrition, more exercise, and focusing on priorities. Deep down, we all know that our lifestyle affects our health. But how many people truly know that those changes can lead to reversing the same critical illness? And more importantly, how many people know that those lifestyle changes, if started early enough, can help prevent illness (including cancer) in the first place? And even if people know that they can prevent cancer, how many truly know which changes to focus on? Do you know what you need to do to prevent cancer? Does your family? Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as, “I need to exercise more”, or, “I need to eat better”. And that is what we are here for. On Saturday, November 22 at First Alliance Church we will be sharing with you the protocols necessary to prevent cancer and to beat it if you have it. We will be dispelling myths around cancer and sharing the knowledge necessary to beat this disease. The information that we will be sharing is from the most recent, cutting edge research and we will be drawing on the experience of Dr. Charles Majors (Maximized Living doctor) who has actually reversed stage 4 cancer without chemo, radiation, or surgery. He did it naturally and wants to share his journey through his book, The Cancer Killers (the cause is the cure). This is a MUST attend for everyone concerned about this horrible disease (open to guests). You have everything you need to fight and prevent cancer in you right now. Don’t base your health on luck; learn the protocols necessary to stay healthy and maximize your body’s cancer fighting ability. You will get the information to help you make changes in your lifestyle and live to your fullest God given potential. Cancer affects us all. If everyone knew the information that we will be sharing cancer rates would drop dramatically. This will be the most important talk we will ever give. WHO ARE YOU BRINGING? Beating cancer naturally, Dr. Jeff and Team
