Wheat allergy or Gluten free... Do you know the difference? I was diagnosed in 1980, after missing numerous days of school and multiple non-productive hospital visits, by a country doctor who had just read & received a new test for food allergies. He heard me coughing and knew what to do. A few allergies popped up but Wheat was the main culprit. I was told I would outgrow the problem and it would return when I got older.....and it has... Along with the lactose allergy which found me in 1990 as I was hunched over on a bench outside of an Unos.
