When Beth and I were visiting at Northside Church of God a couple of weeks ago, Pastor Judy closed the sermon with this song. When it started playing, I was instantly transported back to one of our last nights in Brazil. While at a youth service at the Liberdade congregation in Itaituba. While in Brazil, we visited with a lot of congregations and small groups, but we rarely understood what was going on unless someone was actively translating for us. That night at Liberdade, however, some of the young ladies danced to this song and we actually understood the lyrics! While I dont know what led them to selecting this song, I am so thankful that they did. Ever since hearing it for the first time in Brazil, Ive heard it randomly on the radio or at church. As soon as the song comes on the radio, I am instantly transported back to that service in Brazil. I look forward to a time when we can be in a church service at Liberdade and understand everything that is being said or sung!
