When Christ performed miracles and most of all when he raised himself from death, he literally unlocked and revealed that particular authority in the earth realm to give us the ability to do the same thing. You often hear of weddings, meetings, gatherings, appointments being canceled , but lets start cancelling Funerals in Jesus name and begin commanding the people to live. You have the authority to do so!
