When Danny our first grandchild was about 3 we bought him a motorized pick up for Christmas and he was so excited and loved to drive it. One day he was at our house and I was trying to get him to take a nap and as always he wanted me to tell him a story. After a little while he wanted to ride in his truck . I told him that it was pretend time, so I sat there holding that precious little boy and this is how the story went. ……………..We were gonna pretend he was in his truck I told Danny to close his little eyes and pretend we were going through a juge mud hole. I asked him to pretend he saw it with his eyes closed . So I said to him”can you see that big ole mudhole and he said unhuh I asked him was it deep and he said unhuh, I said are you ready he said unhuh, I asked if he was sitting in his truck and he said unhuh, So in an excited voice I said Okay Danny push the pedal down and go through that mud whole as fast as he could. All of a sudden them eyes flew open and I asked why he opened his eyes and in a sweet little voice he looked at me and said “ MeMe how can I see where I am going with my eyes closed “ Smart 3 year old
