When Dasho Gyem Dorji approached me to consider playing the role of Mendrel Zangmo in Choegyal Drimed Kuenden- The Prince in Exile, I had no second thoughts. This was an opportunity I couldn’t afford to miss. I was actually preparing to fly to Australia but Gyem Dorji’s story and direction, a Norling Drayang Production and a story line that every Bhutanese grew up listening and cherishing! I couldn’t just resist but to postpone my travel plans! I have no regrets! I tried my best to justify my role and live up to the expectations of the director and producer and so did my colleagues but the real jury is the people. I gave my cent percent. I hope you will support and enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed being a part of it. So much effort has been put in by the team and the producer.
