When I announced that I was voting for a third party candidate, I was yelled at. I was throwing my vote away. I was really voting for obama. I was even called a liberal. I refuse to allow myself to be boxed into believing that I have only one of two choices, because it is NOT TRUE! We all have multiple choices. So far, in the last 25 years, the two main candidates did not reflect my values or positions, for the most part. Didnt we all hold our noses in 2008? And look where we are now. The third party candidates are not allowed to participate in the crucial TV debates, but you have the Internet now and can easily research them. Your guy doesnt have to win to make your vote count. Thats not what the vote is about. We have a national election rapidly coming up on November 4. Do YOUR homework and vote for the candidate that best represents YOU.
