When I asked him how things were, I heard a sigh which carried - TopicsExpress

When I asked him how things were, I heard a sigh which carried years of stress and unhappiness. He started complaining that he doesnt know his wife anymore. He went on explaining: ten years ago, we were the happiest couple you could see. At work, I could count the minutes that separated me from her. Today, I drag my feet back home as if I am going to my dentist! Don’t get me wrong, he said. My wife makes my house a small Paradise. The house is always clean and tidy like a 5 star hotel. My laundry is always clean and pressed. She is a great and wonderful cook. I asked him: what is your problem then? He said: my problem is that I didnt marry a maid nor a cook. I married a woman who would fulfill my desires and needs. Something she was the best in years ago. These desires are now no longer in her agenda. This brother is not the only one who complains about this. I admit that brothers also have their issues and shortcomings. However, the sisters should step back and reflect on how they look and how they behave in the bedroom. Sisters call and wonder why their husbands are now looking for a second wife. He is not looking for a maid nor a cook. He is looking for a woman that knows how to ignite the love he felt once more. Sisters, work harder on your marriages. With Allah’s help, you can easily become that woman again whom he fell in love with years ago.
