When I earned my masters degrees in math and statistics, I didnt study math because I knew everything. Actually, I studied math because I was NOT good at it and needed to get better in order to earn my PhD in Finance (hardest thing Ive ever done....a lot of programs get 400 applicants for 10 spots). I learned this from reading Michael Jordans book in which he said that throughout his career, if he had a weakness, he would work on it until it became a strength. I agree with this philosophy.
