When I feel less than happy about life, or get down about something, I always remember the years that I spent living in Costa Rica where I graduated from high school, and had my son living there in my twenties... the culture is slow paced and almost nobody worries about time the same way we do here... waking up in the morning and spending time with your family fishing for the days catch, and cooking food down by the beach, while your kids play soccer on the sand was the norm for many Ticos (Costa Rican people)... its easy to get caught up in the stresses of North American living, worrying about acquiring as much stuff as possible, and staying up with the current trends of the year... at the end of the day, if you have a roof over your head, food on the table, a loving family and friends, you should count your blessings, because so many people dont even have that... this music reminds me of my high school years...
