When I first arrived, I was very ill, the airplane sickness got ahold of an already weakened immune system, and I spent a couple days in the hospital. Once the doctor okd my release, I had to stayput away for a week and keep warm. He had a scarf on.... it was only 68* (f)..... any way. When I was able to go out, Ray and Mrellan took me to Coral Bay, where we found a wonderful inlet. It was sunny and warm. this was my first day out. We went to a fantastic restaurant (hole in the wall...) the purveyor -and cheif cook...Costa was simply wonderful. The food...to diefor, reminded me of Uncle Jims Greek Easter...yum.....except, I stayed away from the Ouzo this time!! ;) I started learning the Greek language from his son, using a vending machine and signs. They wrote Demetrius Katsikapes (my all time most favorite uncle) Nancy Katsikapes Hefely , in Greek for me. Wonderfully warm people. Always wanting to be involved and so very happy...well...except my doctor who just wants to go back to Athens, but his wife will not let him... ;)
